First impressions are everything. unfortunately, mine wasn't so great when i arrived at jasper high.
Well, okay, basically my whole freshman year. Its all about who you hang with. I'm not the type that wants to be in the "IN CROWD". I could care less about that but what i realized this year was my crowd was not the crowd for me. I pretty much figured out who i really was this year and stopped pretending to be something which im not.
I'm not a cruel or mean person. im very nice.
People don't lie when they say you find out who your true friends are in high school. trust me. i experienced that very quickly.
I'm not the type to judge people.
I'm fun to hang out with.
I'm funny. I'll probably make you laugh.
I plan on going to cosmetology school in Houston after i graduate.
I'm all about being happy.
I love being at my lakehouse during the summer.
My family means the WORLD to me. i love them.
My true hero is my wonderful older sister Mattye Bresnen. There's never a dull moment when we are together. Its great. When i have problems, she has the best solutions. I love you Mattye!
But there's one special person who is awesome and who i would like to say something about. Thats Lin Cruse. She is the best. Out of the
kindness of her heart, she took me in this past year and gave me a home i could call my own which i have never had before. She
has so much love in her, its unreal. There is no other woman on this earth i would rather call my "mother" or "mom". She plays that role in my life.
We have gotten really close this year and i look forward to the next the years to come while i am living with her. "Shoot me" is her famous
quote when someone says something like," Oh! you have a teenager all over again. " i know not to take it personal because
there is no other person that would take me under their christian and loving wing like she did. I love you Lindsey.
